OMBAT is an annual flagship event of the School of Management, DG Vaishnav College, organised by the students of the Department since 1995. COMBAT aims to showcase the talents of individuals with events like Best Manager and to focus on group ability and cohesiveness through events like Adzap and Business Plans. COMBAT 2K18 was a grand success with over 50 colleges and 960 students from various parts of city participated to showcase their skillsets. Harish Kalyan, Indian Flim Actor, Shakthi Vasudevan, Indian Actor and an Alumnus and V.C Bhaskar, Vice Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Open University were the guest of honor for COMBAT 2K18. With the continuous support of Our Secretary, Shri Ashok Kumar Mundhra, Our Principal Dr.R.Ganesan and the initiatives taken by our faculties along with the support of corporate firms as sponsorship, COMBAT has been a successful event every year.

College was established in the year 1964 with noble vision of imparting value based quality academic and to empower students with wisdom. The college has successfully completed 54 years of bestowing quality education. DGVC has more than 8000 students in the current year. The college is one among the five colleges to be awarded with Potential for Excellence by UGC.

SOM was established in the year 1995 by DG Vaishnav College and it is stepping into its silver jubilee year. Our prestigious MBA program is affiliated to the University of Madras and is approved by AICTE .
